Uncommon Descent attacking the validity of computer models

Over at Uncommon Descent GilDodgen cautions us against the unreliability of computer models.

That’s a pretty ironic position, given that Gil himself is a software engineer, and subscribes to a movement comprising mainly programmers, mathematicians and PR experts arguing about biological systems, against the people involved in actually studying them and gathering real data, based on nothing more than some arm-wavy personal incredulity and a bunch of mathematical models.
