    However accurate the survey may be I can’t help thinking that the spread of responses says more about the type of person who has completed the survey than about trends in society in general.

    Yes, no doubt that’s the case. I should explain, though, that the percentages above aren’t the spread of responses they’re the degree of match I show to the various categories. I suspect the fact that the quiz is titled “What kind of Atheist are you?,” reveals a subtle bias that would render it useless for discovering the beliefs of the internet as a whole. :)
